Replication Questions to specific model replications

Dear MMB-team,

after seeing through your mod file for the Del Negro & Schorfheide (2015) Paper I am missing the implementation for section B on fundamental inflation. Why is it excluded from the replication?

Thank you for your interest in the MMB!

Our implementations do not necessarily replicate all results from considered papers, but those we find the most important (or suitable for the MMB). That feature has not been added in this particular case because it is really specific and would not contribute to the purpose of having the model comparable (given that other models often do not consider the concept of fundamental inflation).

Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce your results. Would you share your steady state equations with me?

Results could be replicated after downloading the replication package from our website.
In the next step, you need to find the folder US_DNGS15 for this specific model and run the replication, as described in the respective readme file. Steady state equations are defined within the mod file.
